In Brewer V. Williams the defendant Robert Williams was arraigned on the charges of abducting Pamela Powers, a 10-year old girl. Pamela first went missing on December 24, 1968 at a YMCA in Des Moines, Iowa. Williams was an escaped patient from a mental hospital who just so happen to be a resident of the same YMCA. After Pamela went missing, Williams was seen placing a bundling into the front seat of his car.
