Bobby and Ashley have a family of 3 children. Bobby works for minimum wage as a janitor, Ashley work at a restaurant named Mcdonald’s that doesn’t pay her very much. The money that they make together goes toward rent, food and lights.They would like to go on a family vacation. President Obama wants to increase the amount of money people are paid. He wants to increase from 7.25 to 10.10 an hour. The economic policy estimates an increase of 2.85 in minimum wage would boost wages for about 28 million workers. It would mean an additional 6,000 of income for those working full time.
I agree with Obama decisions because then Bobby’s family could go on a family vacation if they wanted to. Obama is increasing a lot of money so it would be better
