1) Observing: My girlfriend, Laura, was on the phone while I was pondering this assignment. Her family was watching the Minnesota Vikings football game in there new stadium. The Vikings have a new stadium that is tax payer funded. I have done some reading on this the last few years and continue to ask questions about these practices.
2) Why do tax payers continue to help fund billion dollar stadiums? Why do cities chose to cut school funding and other community necessities to fund stadiums? Why do tax payers, who are below the poverty line, have to pay for stadiums who’s owners are billionaires? Why do owners of such new stadiums allowed to keep all revenue from taxpayer funded stadiums?
