Law enforcement organization throughout the United State is dealing with a mental health issue. Responding to individuals in serious mental health crisis is becoming more challenging. There is a lack of understanding on how to properly deal with mental health individuals. Mental ill people who committed minor crimes or hurt themselves or others should not be process into a jail facility. These people should be process into a health care facility where they can be properly treated.
