Field Experience B: Advocacy
The Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) exist for the purpose of researching and providing lifelong support to individuals with autism and their families. The organizations research focus’ on early detection of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), improved behavioral and pharmaceutical treatments and to educate professional communities in order to improve service to autistic individuals.
SARRC provides diagnostic and evaluation services for people of all ages as well as a comprehensive behavioral program for children and their families and can be coordinated with schools for children and teens.
SAARC publishes an annual magazine that shares information about their research, events and current news
