In “Study shows Latina immigrants have higher stress levels”, Florez (2014, December 8) explains how many Latina immigrants often feel as though their lives are very stressful due to them feeling looked down upon. This article describes how Latina women tend to have higher rates of psychological distress. It is explained that the hardest part about immigrating to America was learning a new language. Language is a big factor as to why many Latina immigrants are stressed.
