In this essay I will talk about the similarities and differences between two legends. “Cat and Rat” Chinese Zodiac” and “How Cat and Mice became Enemies” are the two legends I will talk about. I think the theme of “How Cats and Mice became Enemies” is to don’t lie because friends to can turn into enemies. I think the theme of “Cat and Rat: Chinese Zodiac” is to don’t trust everyone and friends can stab you in the back in the blink of an eye. Lets start with similarities. First, this essay will explain the similarities of the legends “Cat and Rat: The Chinese Zodiac” and “How Cats and Mice Became Enemies”. My first similarity from the two legends is they both have the rodent tricking the cat with fish. My second similarity is that both the legends explain why cats and mice or rats are enemies. My last similarity is that in both the legends the cat and the rodent started off as best friends and then at the end they ended up enemies. My first difference from the two legends are in “Cat and Rat” the rodent is a rat and in “How Cats and Mice became Enemies” the rodent is a mouse. My second difference from the two legends is that in the first legend the rat hurt him in a way on purpose, in the second legend the mouse didn't mean to he was just hungry. My last difference between the two legends, is that in one they had a destination and in the other they had a reward.
