In this article I will be talking about the role of cause and effect in Martin Luther King's letter from Birmingham jail. The cause of him writing this letter is to address how he feels about blacks being bullied by the white and not having the rights to do as they wish. King uses these words in the letter because he feels blacks should have the same rights as whites and should not be bullied by people that are the same as them on the inside. The cause and effect in this letter played a big role on what Martin Luther King was trying to tell the people. Martin Luther King was a protester that protested with non-violence and tried his hardest to help out his race. The blacks at this time were being treated horrible and disrespectful. Martin Luther King and others had enough and started protesting Martin Luther King made many marches against racism and other things. Martin Luther King wanted blacks to have the same rights as any other human he believed that every man and women are equal no matter what the color of their skin.This means that The black people would start protesting trying to get their rights and to stop being treated like a dog.
