I am a 2016 Utah State University graduate. I am graduating in Family Consumer Human Development with a dual emphasis in Family Finance and Family Community Services. My Family Finance emphasis has prepared me to become a financial counselor and educator. In May 2016 I will be a Certified Family Life Educator through the NCFR.
My passion for finances developed at a young age. Saving money and budgeting was implanted in me as a child through my parents. They encouraged me to use my money wisely and taught the fundaments of finances. I would love to empty my moose piggy bank and count up how much I had accumulated and enjoyed seeing my allowance grow and grow.
When entering college, I initially thought I wanted to go into elementary education.
