My Virtual Child

My first-born child is named Elena Faith. She did very good as she came out of my stomach. As I felt the rush of a natural birth, seeing my little miracle made me so happy and there was a love for her that just came to over power her. She came out 100% healthy and a natural birth it was. My partner was always right there by my side and taking her home finally was the best feeling ever. Although as time came, my partner and I got a little worried because she wasn’t eating right. We continued to feed her normally and as time came, she began to gain weight and once a healthy baby again. Time passed and taking care of her wasn’t easy, but the two of us helped and took turns to put the baby to sleep.
As our baby grew too fast, she was already 8 months. The time with her has been an overwhelming yet amazing experience. I notice that Elena seems to have little goals that involve two steps of planning ahead. I encourage these cognitive advances by encouraging Elena to point to toys that are out of reach so I can get them for her and encourage her to keep trying when there is an obstacle I know she can overcome. At this point of her age, she sometimes reacts emotionally when I leave to work because she has already gotten too attached so I arrange for Elena to spend more social skills with my partner.
