Throughout the semester I worked with the same group of 4 or 5 people. Sydney Young, Anna Fuller, Kevin Culver, Alex Humble, and Kevin Woodhouse were typically my group members. For the Chapter 12, “Letter to Grandma” assignment, I worked with everyone except Kevin Woodhouse. Sydney and I wrote the first draft together before we combined into a larger group. Sydney was always in my group during the semester, so I can evaluate her the best. My overall grade for Sydney would be an A because of a couple reasons. First, she always did all of the activities to the best of her ability and never took shortcuts. Other than that, he was a great group member, took everything seriously, and did his best to help the group. He was not a part of the Chapter 12 assignment with my group. My last group member was Alex Humble. I only worked with her for the Chapter 12 assignment, so I only know what I saw from that one assignment. She was with the group we combined with to make our final draft of the, “Letter to Grandma”. I would give her an A because she was very organized during that activity. She worked really well, combining both group’s ideas together into one paper. At the end she also took the responsibility of bringing a final hard copy to the next class period, which showed me that she was dedicated and cared. Lastly, would be myself. I feel like I earned an A for my participation with group assignments. During small group activities I am much more comfortable giving my opinion, so I felt like I was able to contribute good ideas to the group.
