The character Ponyboy from the book outsiders by S.E. Hinton is mostly portrait as the main character in the story having to be the most surrounded by when it comes to the general story. He contains a strong variety of traits in the story being that the main focus of the story is him and his 2 older brother and there gang of greasers trying to live life with this group of upperclassmen hindering there life and getting in conflict with them on a regular basis
