One Tree Hill is a drama whose original run first aired in the early 2000’s.The show was full of various exciting plotlines, but after nine seasons the show was cancelled. The show was well-rounded so it appealed to a vast majority of people; inspiration, romance, humor, and even athletics could be found in nearly every episode. One Tree Hill centered around a group of young teenagers— Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray), Payton Sawyer (Hilarie Burton), Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush), Nathan Scott (James Lafferty), and Haley James (Bethany Lenz)—and their lives as they grew up in the small North Carolina titular town Tree Hill. Throughout the course of the seasons, the characters meet (primarily at the local high school) and slowly their stories intertwine as the show follows them throughout high school and early adulthood. Situations throughout the show such as: losing a close significant other and struggling to adapt to life, loss, failure, hatred, and grief are very relatable. One Tree Hill shows characters going through dramatic events and their inspiring progress afterwards. When Nathan Scott was going through depression because of his injury that prevented him from going to the NBA, he got to the point where he was on the verge of losing his family and everything he had. However, Nathan did not give up so easily and he eventually overcomes his injury and makes it into the NBA. Many people can relate to Nathan’s situation; he is so close to achieving his dreams and then they crash down around him, but Nathan rises back up and continues to fight. This moment gives the audience a chance to relate to a time in their life when they lost or had their dream taken away from them and had to recuperate from the devastating
