Teachers serve as leaders to their students. Every day, teachers must quickly respond and making tough choices regarding their students. Children will often imitate what they observe through your responses and actions. The text continues to share that respect, consistency, earning trust, and being a disciple of action are key components of character (p. 1048-1049).
