When Asked about the murders, Charles Manson retorted with “Helter Skelter is coming”(biography). When Manson was born he didn’t have the best life. He was born in Cleveland Ohio to a 16 year old prostitute.Living on the streets he picked of several bad habits, he would steal anything he could get ahold of, and got into doing and selling drugs. He eventually landed in jail.Once he got out of he gathered a group of followers who shared his same passions in doing drugs. The family numbered in almost 100 people, most who are young and impressionable.All of these helped lead or were part of Charles Manson’s murderous campaign that made him one of the most infamous murders ever.

He schemed to kill many rich white people by instructing his ever longing disciples to carry out the hideously gruesome deeds. The First of a long murder spree happened at Roman Polanski’s Beverly Hills home on August 9, 1969. He chose his four most obedient followers to carry out the deed, Charles “Tex” Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Linda Kasabian. Kasabian was to be the getaway driver, but when Steven Parent an 18 year old friend of the gardner came walking up to the house she panicked and killed the kid. Meanwhile inside the house actress Sharon Tate, the heiress to Folgers Coffee, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski the writer and his assistant, and Jay Sebring were all being chased and brutally murdered. Jay was shot to death trying to protect Tate. Abigail and Frykowski had ran out of the house but were then chased down and stabbed to death. The most brutal killing of them all was that of Ms.Tate who after pleading for mercy for her unborn baby was stabbed several times in the stomach. Kasabian told of Susan Atkins words moments before stabbing Tate, "Look, b*tch, I have no mercy for you. You're going to die, and you'd better get used to it."(bio) Then Proceeded to take her blood and write PIGS on the front door. However after all this Manson still was not satiated and criticized them for being sloppy. So Manson re-instructed them on what to do and the next night they sent went to the home of a wealthy supermarket owner, Leno LaBianca.
