What new things did you learn about climate change from the Chasing Coral Film?

I did not know how important coral reefs are to the ocean and environmental ecosystems. The definition of climate change in Chasing Coral was another perspective I did not know. The film explained how coal, gas and other carbon emissions contribute to earths atmosphere by emitting into the ocean. About 93% of heat is absorbed by the ocean and causing the extra heating to be distributed to the ocean. It affects the surface heat we live in by increasing temperatures of about 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Just like coral reefs, we wouldn’t adapt to our surrounding environmental temperatures.
