History has shown that violence and revolts against the most powerful, in most cases the government, only conclude with the eradication of the non-powerful individuals. In the same manner, Chavez utilize history as a source to convince his audience about how dangerous the revolts against the government could be. Moreover Chavez says “Examine history, who gets killed in the case of violent revolution? The poor, the worker, the people of the land don’t really gain that much for it.” This illustrates how Chavez intimidate his audience. In other words, he alarm the low income individuals that by revolving, what they would only receive would be destruction, as it has happened throughout history.
