t is obvious that many professional athletes over the years have taken some part in medicated supplements such as steroids. It is actually more common today to see them in a lot of teen athletes, which really has me begging the question, “are steroids worth it”. There are major side effects and with teens your body is not even fully matured yet how will that hurt in the long run? The common side effects can be greater chance of injuring muscles and tendons jaundice or yellowing of the skin, liver damage stunted growth, increased risk of developing heart disease, blood clots, stroke, and some types of cancer. Those three just being 3 out of 10 on the list at the age of 15 already experiencing these side effects can be very damaging to any further activity or just visual body effects. I guess, i would make my controversial point to be whether or not Steroids ,in particular teens, are really worth it?

There are many people not only teens, who will swear by anabolic steroids. For example professional athletes, will be on supplements there whole career and no one could know. At least thats the way they choose to see it, obviously through the media over the years it has become clear that it is no longer an easy secret to keep. Not only do the instant side effects give it away, but the fact that although it may impact your playing or activity it slows you down in the long run. What interested me when i first researched this topic, which as a woman myself it shouldn't surprise me too much,
