Born in Beijing in 1980, Chen Man grew up in the wake of the Cultural Revolution in a traditional Hutong neighbourhood under the shadow of the Forbidden City. Hers was the last generation of the Chinese one-child policy. "The post 80s generation are much more selfish than the generation before," she claims.
