Child soldiers have been through a tragic trauma rather they have been taken away from their family or their family has been killed. The child should be given amnesty and serve for their country from what they have done. It’s going to be hard finding a place to let the kids stay and it's going to cost a lot. Beah a former child soldier was taken in and cared for. But now he is speaking at public places and wrote a book. Some kids might not react the same as Beah has so we might need to worry about letting all these dangerous kids in. Child soldiers have been given drugs which blurs their memory from what has happened to them. They also have threatened with a life or death situation. Child soldiers should be given amnesty because they didn't truly know what they were doing.

The children have been taken from their homes and now forced to fight and kill innocent people. “A boy crying cause he missed his mother”(quote).Child soldiers have been trained to have show no emotion and be killed if refused to do as told. So if the children disagreed with what they were doing they would be killed or critically injured. The chiefs of the group would give extra drugs to the kids to blur their memory. So that they would forget what happened in the past and the drugs

Most the time child soldiers if didn't do as the leader says they would be killed. In other words they are the victims. On one side of the argument many believe that child soldiers should be punished for their actions, but they are truly not responsible for any of this. Deadly actions were caused by drugs and alcohol. Some child soldiers that are getting recovered have gone to public speaking, write books, and even become an Olympian. Sudan a once child soldier got recovered and is now a famous Olympian for the US. no one that age should be held accountable for what was forced on
