For Chinese immigrants who wanted to live in America and start a better life, it was tough for them during the 1910s. The United States established The Chinese Exclusion Act allowing only diplomats, students, merchants and teachers to migrate. Others had to buy fake identities as children of native or exempt classes. I thought the Chinese Extinction Act gave the Chinese a huge disadvantage coming to America. With Chinese workers already establishing the railroads across the country, I felt as though creating the Act was injustice for all Chinese immigrants.
