The First Night is an interesting and depicts chivalry in characters throughout the movie. To continue, Sir Lancelot is a character who displays all of the qualities of a chivalrous person showing the ideal actions of a knight. There are so many actions that Sir Lancelot makes in order to show us that chivalry is present in the movie. Initially, at the beginning of the movie he is sword fighting any man or woman who dares to take him on. Many try to defeat him, but no one has the courage or swordsman skills to keep up with him. Furthermore, as the queen was stuck in the woods running and fighting for her life Sir Lancelot swoops in and has to fight off three men in order to save her. He does this and takes the queen back to her people safe
