Who do you think of someone says American Hero? Well when I was asked that question the first man that popped into my mind, was Chris Kyle. Some may have heard about him and others may have not, but he was the most lethal sniper in United States history. After four short tours in iraq between 2003 and 2009,Chris Kyle found himself with at least 160 confirmed kills. Kyle had to sacrifice everything back home to protect everyone in the U.S. Now a man that can find himself in that position, defending his country, and still pull the trigger, has respect from me. One thing we should not forget though, is that he was not the only soldier there, which means all of them need thanks, from us. Chris kyle served four tours overseas, where he had at least 160 confirmed kills. Kyle happened to see his brother while boarding his plane back to the US, Kyles brother made a nasty statement against the place that Kyle wanted to protect, this made him very mad. Chris Kyle’s longest shot to kill an insurgent sniper that was aiming at other military members, was a whopping 2,100 yards, made from his McMillan Tac-338 sniper rifle. This really popped out because I feel that I can live free because of people like Kyle, that find themselves about to still do their duty even with consequences. So that's why I chose Chris Kyle, I feel that anyone who can pull that trigger with someone in front of it, while defending our country, deserves respect from everyone. I like to follow up and read stories of those on the front lines since I to, would like to serve.
