The determination of someone can lead a person to go far to find out who he is and his pursed in life. This can happen to anyone that is willing to go that far and willing to take the scarfed and keep going to be happy where they wants to be. An explain of this kind of actions or mined set. Christopher McCandless is a person that the book called “In The Wild” by Jon Krakauer. Jon Krakauer wrote on the life of McCandless he left his family behind, stuff and then set on adventure to Alaska. In the book it talks about how he learn to survive, barely eating and getting by with very little food. Was McCandless on an adventure or on a mission for finding his purpose in life. Some people have different opinion on McCandless some say he was not too smart, had mental health issues and he was a scared then ran from his problems. Was Chris McCandless motivated by family problems and literature to make him adventure in the the wild.

In an article called “Why the Teens Brain is Drawn to Risk” by Maia Szalavitz. Szalavitz tells about how teens brains are at risk of doing crazy things like play Russian roulette, engaging in sexual contact and adventure like Christopher McCandless. Then Szalavitz talk about a research project of rats to see how their brain are wired to see if or how humans would do.Szalavitz says this about the rats “rats are more likely to explore a new environment. You don’t know what you’re going to find: that sort of the definition of a novel environment. If you are more ambiguity tolerant, that would enable sort of exploration”(3). What Szalavitz said about that sometimes people go on in life looking for what they do not know for what but keep looking.
