In the wild , starvation is the number 1 cause of deaths to many citizens roaming the free wild of the world killing 21000 a year. Chris McCandless was a 24 year old man living the wild. He loved the scenery and getting away from the large crowds of people telling him what to do. Sadly he died of starvation , leaving the world in a painful death in the Alaskan woods. Although Chris had adventures months in living by his own laws , without a doubt it was not worth in writing a book about his life because he disappeared from loving family and friends , he abandoned his belonging and accouterments, lastly had no experience or prepared for the wild.

Chris McCandless wanted to express and feel the real world , living without any power of the government telling him the limits of life. Chris had an intention for woods but was clueless about species and food material. Evidence in the movie portrayed that Chris died of starvation, not having anything to eat because he didn't know much about hunting animals and storing them from peasants. This shows that Chris did not receive much attention to food as he was not able to hold off the insects and diseases. Also the novel illustrated that Chris also died from eating poison. This poison was introduced to Chris when eating seed plants and figured out that he has then eaten as poisonous plant seed causing pain in his body and lead to death. This evidence proves that Chris was not prepared for the wild because he had no major idea in the plants he was eating that cause him the death as we now know it. Lastly is was not worth writing a book about McCandless because he had very little material that was not keeping him warm enough and was not giving him enough food. The novel revealed that Chris carried very little . These words even came from the man he met first which gave him a ride into the wide. The poor man even offered McCandless some snow boots because McCandless did not have waterproof shoes to stand the freezing weather. When living in the bus, McCandless barely had enough tools to make a warm fire but because he was near snow all of his adventure. This shows that McCandless was unprepared towards his adventure and knew nothing about surviving on greens. This was another reason in why It was not worthy in writing a book towards this mans life , not only was being unprepared mean much but so was giving away all belongings and accouterments that could have been used in tools and equipment towards his
