McCandless was seeking in the wilderness a peaceful place and a place away from society as well. As McCandless arrived in Alaska it changed his life to a better place where he no longer felt different. He felt as if he can now live his life with no rules to follow and he felt completely free. McCandless sees the wildness as a state free where he can find himself and heal his wound. Who was McCandless after before he decided to head to the wild and find himself.

McCandless came from a wealthy family and as a child he lived a life. Where he didn’t spend much time with this parents. His parents were working almost all the time and had no time for McCandless. He spends all his time by with his sister and they both took care of each other. When McCandless started school he was a smart child and as he grew up he was coming too independent. This life isn’t easy and not everyone gets everything handed to them and doesn’t achieve success. A few of us work hard to achieve where we are and some of us want more. Some of us don’t settle for less. McCandless might of had everything, but didn’t take advantages of being a successful person. hH was too worry about what was going on with his family. Every family has problems and issues they will always be family no matter what. Sometimes is better to forgive and forget and keep going with life. It doesn’t matter what it is. Achieve successful and he happy McCandless choice to go to the wild and not be prepare for it. He was too stubborn to ask people for help which he ended up dead. At the end he finally realize he need his family with him. What he was looking for at the wildness was peace but he could of found all he needed at home.
