Christopher Boone: A True Hero

Christopher Boone portrays many unique and different ways of being a hero in the book, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Christopher has a disorder called Asperger Syndrome. This causes him to be socially awkward, and makes it hard for him to feel comfortable in large crowds. He also is a very brilliant kid excelling in math and science. Having this disease most definitely doesn’t stop Christopher from being the hero that he is.

He falls under the transcendent hero description as his fall brings him to his downfall. For example, his autism seemed to have gotten Christopher in trouble with the police officer. Christopher acted up and hit the police officer because he touched him. Not knowing that Christopher had autism,
