A creature that lurks in the night; that sucks the blood of livestock like a vampire. A creature that has red glowing eyes and no hair. This beast would be known as the Chupacabra. The Chupacabra has been known to appear many in different ways. Some say it’s a hopping animal which leaves a sulfuric stench behind. (Carroll) Others described it as a half alien, half dinosaur vampire with quills running down its back. (Carroll). The name Chupacabra means “Goat Sucker”, allegedly named for its craving to engulf the blood of goats and other livestock. The first sighting of the Chupacabra was in Puerto Rico. Many sightings have been reported around the world, like: Mexico, El Cajon, Namibia, Texas, etc. However, many people believe that the cause of the Chupacabra is probably a severe case of mange, some still believe in the existence of the Chupacabra. Through all the movies and books, Chupacabras have been immortalized as the beasts we know them today. Although the Chupacabra has been debunked many times with an astounding amount of evidence, people still believe in the existence of this creature. This film has kept the existence of the Chupacabra alive (Horrorpedia). San Antonio is a another movie about the Chupacabra.
