History is full of inventions which were intended to improve life in some manner. For example, vaccinations, the telephone, and electricity benefited human life, whether it is in the areas of health, communication, or daily life. Unfortunately, there are inventions in which negatives nullify any positives they may bring. The cigarette is a prime example of that invention which would have been better left “uninvented”.
