Once upon a time in a small, but very wealthy town in England, Mellytochi was a young 17 year old orphan, who lived with her horrifying stepmother La’ Fonda and he selfish, rude stepsister Trobalquia. The two always made fun of Mellytochi and now she’s insecure of herself. Mellytochi’s father was food poisoned by Trobalquia. This was because her father found out that La’ Fonda threatened and beat Mellytochi behind his back. Mellytochi’s father was a very well-supporting parent. He always made sure that Melly was satisfied with her life. After his wife died, Mellytochi’s biological mother, that’s when he went through a big depression of “loneliness” and married La’ Fonda.

3 YEARS AFTER…

“Shcatz! Get over here right now, and scrub the marble tile in the foryer, so I can see the light reflect off of it when the sun shines through the sun roof!” screeched La’ Fonda. Mellytochi managed to croak, “Okay…mom.” As Melly made her way to the furnace room to get the bucket of soapy water and a big, ragged sponge, she stopped for a minute and prayed to her father, “Oh how I wish you were with me right now. Stepmother’s treating me horribly and I just need someone in my life that actually cares and can take care of me. If you can hear me, please, please, please, please, please help me in someway! I love you and I really miss you father!” Mellytochi started tearing up when all of a sudden, La’ Fonda rushes into the room and starts yelling at Melly. “What are you doing Shcatz!?” screamed La’ Fonda. “I thought I told you to shine the floor, not dilly-dally around and talk to your imaginary friends!” Mellytochi wiped her tears, got the bucket and sponge, and then headed off to go clean the floors… without arguing with her stepmother. After a few hours of hard, excruciating scrubbing, Melly overheard La’ Fonda talking to Trobalquia about the festival, at the plaza in town. They were talking about how La’ Fonda was going to get Prince Otero to marry Trobalquia, and make him give her the life she has always dreamed of. Then, Mellytochi overheard that they weren’t going to let her go because she wasn’t beautiful enough. Also because she had the most raggiest, most horrific smelling clothes in the universe. She also heard that if Trobalquia or La’ Fonda find out that she went to the festival, then La’ Fonda would smack her. Melly ignored it an went back to her work. After Mellytochi finished shining the marble granite flooring, she prayed to god and her father again, to please help her try to get into the festival grounds without anyone recognizing her, and at that moment, a man popped up right before her eyes. Melly didn’t know what to say except, “Wh- wh- who are y- you?” The old man whispered, “I’m Sherwood Anderson, and this is my pet llama-donkey Pat.” “Why have you came to visit me? Where are you from?” “I live in a land where we can grant anyone’s greatest dreams and wishes.” said Sherwood. “And I’ve come to grant yours!” “Well what’s with the llama-donkey?” Mellytochi asked humorously. “It’s not just any ordinary animal, if you think that.” Stated Sherwood. “I’m going to give you Pat so you can use his wishes, as you wish!” “Okay. Thank you mister!” said Mellytochi. “And as she said that, he poofed away and his llama-donkey was there, left with Melly. She made sure to hide Pat in a safe place where La’ Fonda or Trobalquia would never find him, and yes... Pat is a male llama-donkey. The next day, Mellytochi woke up and remembered that it was the day of the festival. She then, also, remembered that she has the magical llama-donkey Pat. So without making a sound while Melly went to Pat, while her stepmother and stepsister were getting ready, she threw on her ripped up jacket, put on some old boots, and ran out the door in a quiet matter. As she made her way to Pat, she thought of the old man, Sherwood Anderson, and what he said about how to use the wishes… to use them wisely. So instead of just
