Civil disobedience is a virtue for men it has led to many progress in society. I agree with civil disobedience because it has caused the pursuit of success. I know that being disobedient is not always favorable, however when it is for something in advance being disobedient is agreeable. We have progressed in society because of people that have stood in disobedience and did what they think is right. There are many people in our history that disobeyed either society or even the government. Civil disobedience is not always unacceptable, therefore at some point everyone has disobeyed in order to get what you are working hard for. For example, Martin Luther King Jr stands in disobedience because he wanted for society to be equal, even though people were against him he had a dream about every person being equal. Henry David Thoreau was against the government because he knew that they were corrupted. Thoreau did not want to have a government. Martin Luther King Jr had a dream that it does not matter the color of your skin everyone should be treated the same. He did not want to have a government because they saw us as machines that just work for them, furthermore did not really care for the people. He also stated that people who work for the government are slaves because they work 24/7. He describes the people who work for the government as slaves because they lose their civil rights. They spend more time at work than with their families. He had civil disobedience because he knew that the government was corrupted and did not want to be part of the corruption.
