Main Points The main point of this article is the significance of the promise ring and the claddagh ring. You can use promise rings if you are not planning to get married or you can use claddagh rings as one of your choices as well which is mostly used in the Irish culture. Claddagh rings look like two clasped hands around a heart and on top of the heart there is a crown. The three symbols together represent love, loyalty and friendship (Etinger). Claddagh rings can mean many things depending on which hand you wear it on or the direction the heart is. These two types of rings are more popular in couples and you can have them customized if you want. My opinion Rings are important because as the article said it represents loyalty and it is a great way to show your partner where you stand.
