Clara Barton was an great example because she started the American Red Cross, she helped wounded soldiers, she also taught as a school teacher at age 18. She was a very brave woman and had a huge heart. She used her God given abilities to help in many different ways and continued to use them until the day she died.

According to Debra Michals PH. D. ,She quit a very good paying job to go risk her life and travel with the war to heal soldiers. She started working in a local healing facility and then moved up and then started to work with nursing following the war. She both helped our side of the war and the enemies. She had a big heart and wanted to help all the wounded not just our side. She believed that all people deserved to be heal. She was a true example of having a heart after God.
