Another organizational objective of the institution is an effective supervisory structure. In a correctional facility, the best asset is without any doubt its personnel. Therefore, the importance of a close supervision of the staff who have a high personal contact with the inmates cannot be overemphasized. The guards who have direct interaction with the inmates automatically have the bigger role of ensuring the safety of other inmates and the overall correctional facility in general. For each of the above organizational objectives there are some inmate/ employee programs that help achieve them. They include the following;

• For Education and Training, there are educational programs. These are programs that are help the objective come through this case for Clarinda Correctional Facility displays its main objective through its mission. Making sure that the inmates will be safe and better the outside society. For instance, when they get educated in the correctional facility they will be able to serve the society other than hurting people with ways like stealing.

• For the Institutional Environment objective, there are building skills programs. These programs help the inmates to build some of the building inside the facility and in this way they can gain skills responsible for helping out when they get
