The quote by Clemenceau explains that people don’t think before they act which is a unintelligent way of living. By saying the order of act is insane proves there’s another way of doing things in a situation. In a situation, people like to act out based on their emotions. What they don’t do is think. Thinking gives people a chance to establish different approaches to situations. Clemenceau uses the word reasonably which implies its a reasonable approach to think before acting because the situation would turn out better. For example, if a child were to be bullied in school he would have two options, he could act on the attacker or think. Acting on the attacker by punching back would create a bigger issue because he did harm to another person in a place that doesn’t allow it. People have the choice to control their actions. In order for someone to control their actions it involves thinking. For example, if someone wanted to handle a situation by fighting, they would take the time to think of how to fight, how to win, and how to avoid injury. However, people today are so quick to act without thinking. When people don’t think before they act they go into a fight without thinking. Without thinking in a fighting situation people don’t plan how to fight, win, and even plan how to defend themselves which ends up in bigger situation, worse than how it started.
