I interviewed my client on Thursday November 5th ,2015. My client is a mature student who attends York University and she presented a few problems which mainly pertain to her anxiety she faces in school and throughout the day. At a very young age of 17 she had moved out from her house to continue her professional career as a figure skater. She resided in Montreal where she trained with her partner Bryan who she no longer has contact with. Being a pairs figure skater she always relied on somebody to be there for her, not having him there anymore increases her anxiety as she relied on him greatly. In addition to this, she has a lot of expenses that’s she needs to take care of, which also fuel her daily anxiety levels. Being a perfectionist, a value she has come to live by creates a discrepancy between her ideal self and her real self and this is the main reason fueling her anxiety levels. My paraphrasing at times were pretty confusing because when I tried to reiterate the clients story I had small bits and piece. I used paraphrasing on lines (19, 35, 72, 132, 169, 200). When paraphrasing I tried to gather the facts and thoughts of my client’s story but that did not turn out so well because I constantly over thinking on what I could and could not say. Line 19 \ could have been improved by saying “Your yoga practice and effort to make time to go to gym has been made you feel better”. On line 41 I could have said “You have found a way to be more financially stable by taking the initiative to find yourself another restaurant job”. Also line 132 could have been improved by saying “It sounds like you have a really supportive family which understands what you are going
