At the beginning of the book it starts with a girl going to a party, but one of her friend was missing so the two girls went to find them but one never came back. One of the girls is named Summer but she ran into a man that kidnaped her. Of course she is terrified so he tried to run away. Sixteen year old Summer has a boyfriend named Lewis. She lives in a small town called Long Thorpe.

Summer was renamed as Lily from Colin but he wants them to call him Clover. Shannen In this case she is Rose, Rebecca is Poppy, and Jennifer is Violet, who was also in the cellar with Summer (Lily). They’re all renamed as flowers. They have been there longer than Lily. The unusual thing was, Clover worked as a lawyer. He also has Obsessive Compulsive

I also think it mean for the noun skin probably of crawling of describe her disgust. Like if she did not want him to touch her. I also think it meant is that he did not want to get touch. She did not want to get close to the man Clover or get touch by him.

Some symbolisms I found about the book is that the man Clover has obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Something that Clover has of ocd is that he wants everything spotless clean. Other thing he has form OCD is that he wants everything to go on his plan. Also, he has the problem of scented smell for the rooms. Clover has the system of panic attacks when they flowers are dying. The last system he had throughout the whole book is that he gets really mad.

The second symbolisms I found throughout the book is that they are all karing in their one way. Some examples is when she risk herself to fight Clover first. Another example I found was when they tried to welcome lily when she first came in the cellar. I also think that they are all caring in their one way is by being nice to each other. I also think they are caring is when they try to explain Summer everything that happen in the cellar. Also, in the ending of the book when Summer and Poppy are still good
