Coach Z: Tryout Analysis

When I was seven years old I was on an all-star baseball team and the season just finished. However, a few months later my parents informed me that I was going to have a new coach next season if made the team. Despite the fact that I was fearful of having a new coach to try out for, I still practiced as much as I usually would. My new coaches name was Coach Z he was excessively strict. In addition, he was large and intimidating. At the end of winter in 2012 the tryouts were beginning at a winter workout place. I was a timid but athletic child and I inferred that I wasn't going to make the team. The only reason why I still tried my hardest was because Coach Z talk to me before tryouts about working hard. It was scary every time I made an error because I thought Coach Z was going to yell at me, like he did to all of the other players. Instead, he told me to keep my head up, and try again. About a week after tryouts I was informed that I did not make the team. Even though I was not skilled enough to be in the team Coach Z told me to practice hard for the next tryouts. I did what Coach Z told me to do and I practiced at any time I could to become a better player. By the time tryouts were approaching it was almost summer. I worked hard because I became determined to be a better player and person. I noticed that I was becoming tremendously skilled, and at this point I was victorious. I became able to push myself to the limit without any help from anyone, including Coach Z. When I played in the first game on my new team, I batted last in the line-up. I made an amazing first impression by hitting the ball every time I batted, and I fielded every ball cleanly every time the ball was hit to me.
