The Eight Greek Evil Thoughts are beliefs thought to break the code of morality. Odysseus demonstrates multiple traits of the Evil Thoughts in the episode “The Cyclops” in the epic The Odyssey. In the episode, Odysseus is trapped on an island with his men and is tormented by the Cyclops. He then has success of poking out the Cyclops’ eye while Cyclops is drunk and escapes the island alongside his men. Shown in the episode, Odysseus demonstrates 3 of the evil traits known as Kenodoxia, Hyperephania, and Orge. The first trait shown by Odysseus is Kenodoxia (boasting).
