Cognitive remediation therapy intervention is ideal to improve the cognitive flexibility and improve functioning. We will do this by focusing on how our patients think, instead of on what a patient thinks. This intervention works by teaching many new adaptive strategies and neural connection which can make them more flexible in the way they think or behave (Herpertz-Dahlmann, Van Elburg, Castro-Fornieles & Schmidt, 2015).
Dialectical behavior therapy is another cognitive intervention. This intervention is to try to treat clients with many several disorders. That way if a client comes in with more than just one disorder we will be paraded and know what to do. There are five key sections for this intervention the first is skill improvement.
