Growing up in a small town, it is hard to feel like you can make something out of yourself, or do something that others will know you for. From a young age, I have always been interested in music. I grew up playing violin, so I always found myself enjoying music more than others, because it was a language that I understood so well. Aside from violin, my one true love was singing. I always thought it was amazing that song was something that I could produce using nothing but my body, and that my voice was something that was completely unique to me. I grew up watching famous performers with their lives of luxury and fame and for a very long time wished that I could live that kind of life, and because I was so young I never realized the stress and corruption that was a large part of the music …show more content…
If I knew that I would not fail, I would make a career through music. Music has been something that has helped me find out more about myself and something that I excel in greatly. I would love to anything from songwriting to solo singing. This isn't something that I wish I could accomplish solely for money or recognition, but for the satisfaction of knowing that my creativity can help me to create something that I love and that the public loves as well. My favorite part of writing and singing music is seeing how it evolves from something so simple into a completed project, and this, to me, is instant gratification. I want to see my words travel from the paper to the microphone and see the music that I make in a better light because that is how I know that I have done something that is worth my time. I wouldn’t wish to perform for large crowds and live the sort of life that changes who I am, but rather spend my time sharing an intimate musical experience with a smaller
