There was a time in my life where I touched bottom, life just knocked me out. My mental stability was pure chaos, I had only one goal set, my academics. Even if everything was crushed, I knew what my priorities were, but, was that the real priority? My self-stem was dragging the floors, I did not take care of my personal health. Even so, there was a point in which I could not stand it anymore, I needed to do something, so I began to take kick boxing classes near my house, my coaches idol was Bruce Lee, I honestly did not show any interest at first, but one day my coach noticed my internal anxiety and talked with me, we had a long inspirational moment and when he finished he told me to watch a Bruce Lee movie, I did not think he was being serious, …show more content…
Therefore, it influenced my aspirations in a unique manner, I stopped caring about how society wanted to mold me and begin to find myself. Moreover, Bruce Lee’s fighting spirit impulse me to never give up, I am aware that there will be hard knock days, but overcoming those days is the line that separates the mediocre from the winners, the overachievers. However, Bruce Lee was an incomparable athlete, but he was more mental than physical, he taught me the power of believing in one own self, there is no obstacle that cannot be surpassed as long as your mental stability is at its maximum. “We need emotional content. Don't think, feel” life is brief, there will be times where one will think the universe is unfair, but everything happens for a reason, one does not only need to embrace the glory, but learn from misfortune. There will be times when nothing works as planned, but the unique thing that is important is yourself, it is important to have our own dream’s plans setting straight, but our health, our own person is the most valuable
