In the late 15th and 16th Century, the first exploration and discovery of the Caribbean islands led to the circulate of news of alternated trade routes. In addition, early explorers were funded by investors that led to violent competition at the expense of the Amerindians.
On the assumption that Amerindians did not have a religion many Europeans forced Amerindians to assimilate to their ideology standards and beliefs. Ironically, the motivation among Europeans led to additional voyages to the New World who seek reformation. By this time the invention of the printing press and mass production allowed an increased spread in the religion reform and ventures of the New World.
As a result, the Columbian Exchange encouraged the trade networks to
