He beings by giving the reader an estimated number of people whom will be affected and deported by the removal of the TPS. He discusses the work areas that will be affected by the decision and the citizen children of the families. Leonhardt emphasizes the poor management of the immigration system of The United States and how it needs renovations. He also highlights how Trump’s administration can support their harsh decision with legal explanations. I wish to contribute my perspective and represent not only the Salvadorans, but the immigration community in such manners. Leonhardt highlights that the harsh decision of removing the TPS from Salvadorans would affect families and work areas around the country. I agree with Leonhardt’s statement; I know family members and friends whom will be affected by the removal of the TPS, and it’s sad to acknowledge that in a few months their goals and dreams will vanish. All the hard work, sweat and dedication will all crumble as it was just a dream and nothing more. Parents will have a hard decision on wether to bring their citizen children to poverty and hardships or leave them in The United States were they can have better education, jobs, homes, rights, freedom, safety and much more.
