P3/M1: Discuss potential barriers to effective communication and explain mechanisms that can reduce the impact of communication barriers.
In this task I will be discussing what potential barriers are there to effective communication and explain the mechanisms that can reduce the impact of communication barrier. As communcation is an important aspect that allows us to share our knowledge and ideas with other people, but at times there could be moments where you could find difficult to understand another person. Not only spoken language could be a problem with communicating but also noise depending in what sort of environment you are. I will be explainig how you can avoid these barries in the future.
Noise
P3: Noise is one of the most common communication barriers there is which all depends on the surroundings you are communicating in. Noise causes distraction for people, some may be interrupted from the noise depending on what sort of noise it is. But most of the time people stop when they hear an irritiating noise which prevents you from communicating effectively. When there is noises in the background this could lead to you forgetting what you was going to say or the other person not being able to hear you, this means that noise is a communication barrier which effects communication. Also you can avoid the barrier by using a translator when you don‘t understand what another person is saying in a different language, meaning that you will not say anything inappropriate or offensive to the person you are speaking too and makes it easier for you to get your message across to them.
