Life expectancy of a person has even changed in the midst of the Industrial Revolution even though the working and living conditions were not the best for the working class. The Urban population was increasing due to workers moving into the cities in hopes of a better life for themselves and their families. The social impact that created awareness of working and living conditions help to improve those conditions and thus the death rate declined and the birth rate increased. When referring to the Capitalism System, in reference to the government, the system of government is democratic. The property is privately owned and wealth is distributed unevenly. Education and healthcare are provided by private individuals. There is a freedom of the press where all men have a right to say what they want. Class distinctions are very evident in terms of definite upper class, middle class, and working class. The main focus is on the individual and their own progress in life. The Communism System of government is totalitarian. This system wants all property to be owned by the state. No free enterprise is allowed, you do not have a right to speak your own mind. Only to mimic what you are told. Wealth would be distributed equally and education and health care would be provided by the state. There would literally be a classless society because all members of the society would be considered equal. Focus would be on the progress of the community as a whole, not each individual. Capitalism and communism have opposing sets of ideas as we know. The ideology of capitalism was to give people their own freedom. When people compete against one another, they achieve greater things. They tend to have more aggressive and personal goals. It is understood that some people have more than others because they make better use of their abilities and knowledge. Governments should not interfere with the rights of individuals who want to make their own living and provide for themselves and their families. The capitalism system believes that the government should not interfere in the economy. The ideology of communism leads us to believe that people need one another. When people work together as equals, they achieve greater things together. No-one should have more than anyone else and everybody's needs are equally important.
