For my Volunteer/Community Service Project i helped at the boys and girl clubs in Santa Ana. It was a new experience to work around kids and see how they act when adults aren't around. When i first arrived i was a bit nervous and excited. I was told by Mrs. Vargas to clean the trash in the parking lot. After cleaning the parking lot i helped pass out snacks to the kids.

What i found old was being around the kids and the staff members. I found this old because when i was elementary i was in a after school program called ASES. The environment was familiar to me because it was a bunch of kids having fun and interacting. Being around the kids made me feel young again and i could also see how different our generation is from when i was a kid to what it is now.

Taking care of the kids helped the community in various ways. One way it helped the community is keeping these kids in a safe environment so there parents can work and get money that not only helps them but the community. It helps parents who kids attend boys and girls club to work more which can improve the communitys economy.

Although it was a fun experience i would not do this as my career for many factors. One reason i wouldn't do this for a career is because some kids can get rowdy and a bit stubborn. Another reason i wouldn't do this is because it wears you out by the end of the day you are really tired. At times it can get little to loud and at times the kids will get out of control. And there are some kids who are considered at risk youths who don't seem to care about much and act hard just to get attention from the other kids. These at risk youths are harder to control and talk
