Community Service Requirements

If a principle was making community service a requirement I would agree. For one, kids these days spend way to much time on their phone. Comunity service would make them get off of it once in a while. The second reason is, kids would learn how to interact with all different kinds of people. And lastly, if kids tried doing community service they would know what it would be like to have a job. Kids should do somekind of commuity service so they can help out their community for once. First of all, kids are on their phone way to much and miss a lot of things going on in the really world. All they do is text eac other about stuff that doesn't really matter. The average teenager ages thirteen through seventeen sends an average of 3,339 texts per month (according to Nielson). I would bet that, that number would go down if kids started doing community service and getting out more. It would show them that there is more to life than how many likes you get on a post or what your snapchat score is. While kids are at school and at home the only types of adults around them are nice types of people that wouldn't do anything to hurt you or other types of adults the are soft and kind. Teenagers need to know before they go off to collage that not all people are like that.
