Urban Comparison: San Antonio and Detroit While learning about Detroit, I can understand why some people may have their misconceptions with what they think Detroit is. Many people may believe Detroit has nothing to offer due to its failing motor industry, the run-down neighborhood and the lack of economic development. What they don't know is that the City of Detroit is working hard to prove those doubters wrong- they have been working to make their city into what they know it can be. The City of Detroit has used may key issues in order to see plentiful economic development. I believe the City of San Antoni can emulate these into future economic developments in order to allow the city to grow just like Detroit.
