Steve Jobs and Bill Gates The development of new technology can have a huge impact on the way people live. Two of most iconic people in the technology field are Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Known world-wide for their undeniable success, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs could be regarded as both extremely alike, but also very different in their own ways. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates can be easily compared on the grounds they both are co-founders of amazingly successful and popular companies. Steve Jobs was the founder and chairman of Apple, until his death, . Likewise, Bill Gates is the chairman of Microsoft, and world-renowned computer software that he founded in 1975. Though Steve and Bill are responsible for technological advances that continue to change the lives of generation after generation; the road to success was not always so smooth for either of them. Both inventors started with nothing more than a dream. They attended college and took similar courses, but shockingly dropped out shortly after. It's astonishing that someone could attend college, drop out, and years later, end up being the founder of a billion dollar company. Not only did this happen to one person, but two. Two people that were born within eight months of each other. Despite their numerous similaritites, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates have an array of differences that set them apart and allow them to be respected in their own ways.
